A great way to educate young children about the disabilities that some children face.

A lovely little book that helps to explain something about a rare disability, achondroplasia. Suitable for primary school children, and also a great resource to have in school. Sadly there is so much prejudice against disability and this book helps to fight such attitudes. I had a lovely afternoon sharing the story with my 4 year old granddaughter.

Strong and Mighty Max Book Launch

Strong and Mighty Max was launched at the Diamond Jubilee Centre, Rugby, November 2015.

The hall was packed with children from local primary schools across Rugby and their parents who listened to a reading of the story by Rugby MP, Mark Pawsey. Members of the Restricted Growth Association Charity also supported the event. Families were thrilled to have a positive children’s story to help educate friends and family about dwarfism.

Kristina Gray signed copies of the book. The local newspaper article which promoted the event is here
